In truth, I’m just like you: no better, no worse

Though, I may have started off worse...

After getting laid off from my first job, I never felt secure in my position.

So I decided to take the CPA (Certified Public Accountancy) exam.

At the time, it was considered the most difficult certification exam, with only a 15% first time pass rate.

Overwhelming to say the least!

I decided it might be good to learn memory and learning techniques.

Thought the time I put upfront could save me much more in the long run.

Sure enough...it did!

I found tools like mind mapping and speed reading that were really helpful.

…and I passed the exam!
